Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- margarine or butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 pt
- sifted cake flour - 2 c
- Add eggs and beat
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix at low speed. Spoon 1/2 batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Cover with 1/2 of topping. Repeat. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Cool completely before removing. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
