  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • margarine or butter - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • carton sour cream - 1 pt
  • sifted cake flour - 2 c
  • Add eggs and beat

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix at low speed. Spoon 1/2 batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Cover with 1/2 of topping. Repeat. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Cool completely before removing. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Best when served on day after baking.Topping:4 tsp. brown sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. cinnamon
