Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cans cherry pie filling - 2 item
How to make cherry crumb cake:
Sift together first 5 ingredients. Add butter or margarine and egg. Crumble ingredients. Use half the mixture and line a 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes or until light golden brown.Recipe categories: Low protein, Breads, Coffee cakes.
