Sour cream apple squares

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• sour cream - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• nuts optional - 1 c
• butter or oleo - 1/2 c
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• chopped apples, peeled - 2 c

How to make sour cream apple squares:

Mix flour, brown sugar and butter or oleo as crumbs. Measure 2 3/4 cups into 10 x 15-inch pan (ungreased). To rest of crumbs, add the rest of ingredients. Stir in apples. Spread over crumb base. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
