Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- oleo, at room temperature - 1 c
How to make snickerdoodles:
Cream margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly. Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add to the first mixture and blend thoroughly again. Form dough into balls the size of walnuts.In another bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon. Roll each ball in this mixture and place on an ungreased cookie sheet, allowing at least 2 inches between each ball. Bake in 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
