Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- sifted all-purpose flour
How to make snickerdoodles:
Preheat oven to 400°. Cream butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Mix together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture. Combine cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar in small bowl. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
