Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- margarine or 1 stick - 8 Tbsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Mix shortening, margarine, eggs and sugar until creamy. Then mix flour, tartar and baking soda. Gradually add to moist mixture. Dough will be a little stiff. Roll 1 teaspoon of dough into a ball and then roll dough ball in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
