Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- skirt steak - 1 item
- salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika - 1 item
- oil and/or drawn butter - 1 item
How to make skirt steak:
Cut steak into pieces about 3-inches square. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Heat oil/butter in heavy skillet (several tablespoons). Quickly brown steak on both sides (do not overcook). Into 1/2 cup water, add soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add this to the steak. Shake and simmer for about 5 minutes. (This last 5 minutes can be done just before serving to allow you to prepare it earlier.) Serve with buttered noodles.Optional: You can add mushrooms during the last 5 minutes.
