- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour
- butter 2 sticks, softened - 1/2 lb
How to make simple shortbread cookies:
Mix all ingredients. Roll out on floured board (1/4 to 1/2-inch thick). Cut into desired shapes and arrange on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Rolled cookies.
