- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Cream the sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add flavorings and butter. Bake in Bundt pan for 1 hour at 350°. Serve by itself or with toppings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
