  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp

How to make buttermilk pound cake:

Cream the sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add flavorings and butter. Bake in Bundt pan for 1 hour at 350°. Serve by itself or with toppings.
