Shrimp scampi
Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- capers - 1 item
- juice of 1 lemon
- white wine - 1/4 c
- large shrimp, peeled, deveined and butterflied - 12 item
- to 1 cube butter - 1/2 item
How to make shrimp scampi:
Saute butter, garlic and lemon juice. Add white wine and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and cover. Shrimp cooks fast, so watch closely. Shrimp are done when the outside is pink and the inside is white. Add capers just to heat. Serve shrimp with some of the sauce and capers and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
