Shrimp quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- Swiss cheese, grated - 8 oz
How to make shrimp quiche:
Chill pastry shell. Chop shrimp (cut in half). Toss cheese with the flour and set aside. Beat together eggs, milk, salt, pepper and cayenne. Spread 3/4 cheese mixture in bottom of pie shell. Next, layer in shrimp and cover with rest of cheese. Pour egg mixture over all. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 40 minutes or until set.
