Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- Crisco oil - 3/4 c
- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- cream sherry - 3/4 c
- Jell-O instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
How to make sherry cake:
Pour ingredients into a mixing bowl and add 1 egg at a time, beating slightly after each addition. Beat at high speed for 10 minutes. Pour into greased Bundt pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour.Mix 1 cup of sifted powdered sugar and 4 tablespoons of cream sherry. Immediately after taking cake out of oven, pour half the mixture over cake. Let cake cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Pour rest of mixture over cake. When cake is cool, sift a little powdered sugar on top.
