Ingredients/Components
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- vanilla instant pudding - 1 pkg
- sherry - 1/2 c
- sherry wine not dry; use amber colored sherry - 3/4 c
- Beat at medium speed for 5 minutes
How to make sherry cake:
Beat eggs; add oil, pudding, wine, cake mix and nutmeg. Beat at medium speed for 5 minutes. Oil or butter a Bundt pan. Sprinkle with flour. Pour the batter in and bake at 325° for 50 minutes. Turn out while hot. Poke cake full of holes using a toothpick. Pour glaze over the cake.Glaze:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. sherryRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Sweet.
