  • eggs - 3 item
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1/4 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • pineapple juice
  • sliced pineapple reserve liquid - 24 oz

How to make pineapple upside-down cake:

Mix cake mix, eggs, oil and pineapple juice on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes. In greased 9 x 13-inch pan, place pineapple rings on bottom and sides. Cut butter in slices; place on pineapple. Mix pineapple liquid with brown sugar. Pour over pineapple in pan. Pour cake mixture over pineapple. Place in 350° preheated oven. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown and will spring back with light touch.
