Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • water - 5 Tbsp
  • light corn syrup
  • egg whites, unbeaten - 2 item

How to make seven-minute frosting:

Put egg whites, sugar, water and corn syrup in upper part of double boiler and beat with eggbeater until thoroughly mixed. Cook and beat until frosting stands in peaks. Remove from fire and add vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread. Coconut may be added to frosting, if desired.
