Rhubarb crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- flour, sifted - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- uncooked oatmeal - 3/4 c
How to make rhubarb crunch:
Press half of crumbs in a greased 9-inch baking pan. Add 4 cups diced rhubarb. Combine second mixture and cook until thick and clear. Pour over rhubarb. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. (May top with whipped cream.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, American.
