Scripture cake

Ingredients/Components

• Jeremiah 6:20 sugar - 2 c
• Amos 4:5 baking powder - 2 tsp
• Judges 4:19 milk - 1/2 c
• Judges 5:25 butter - 1 c
• Nahum 3:12 figs - 2 c
• Isaiah 10:14 eggs - 6 item
• pinch of Leviticus 2:13 salt
• Numbers 17:8 almonds - 2 c
• I Samuel 30:12 raisins - 2 c
• I Samuel 14:25 honey - 2 Tbsp
• Kings 4:22 flour *

How to make scripture cake:

*Note: May not need all of flour; watch for consistency of cake batter.

Cream butter with sugar. Chop figs and add to butter/sugar mixture. Beat eggs until frothy and add milk. Sift flour with baking powder and remaining flour (see Note). Add alternately the flour mixture and the egg mixture to the creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in chopped raisins and almonds and add honey. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake at 375° for approximately 30 minutes. Serves Matthew 11:1 (12 disciples). Enjoy!!
