- butter, softened - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
How to make scottish shortbread:
Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly. Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt; blend until smooth. Roll or pat to 1/4-inch thickness on floured surface.
