Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- oil or butter - 6 tsp
- or 2 eggs, beaten - 1 item
- lemon juice if desired - 1 item
- regular bread crumbs - 1 c
- schnitzels* - 4 item
How to make schnitzel:
*Schnitzel is a cutlet, usually veal but other types of meat may be used.Wash meat and pat dry. Pound meat on both sides; season with salt and pepper on both sides. Coat meat with bread crumbs. In a large skillet, heat oil or butter on medium heat; add meat and fry until medium brown (about 10 minutes on each side). Remove from skillet and sprinkle with lemon juice if desired.
