- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 2/3 c
- milk, scalded
- peeled, sliced potatoes - 4 c
How to make scalloped potatoes:
In greased casserole, layer uncooked potatoes, onions and combined flour, salt and pepper. Repeat. Sprinkle paprika over all. Cut butter into small pieces and spread over casserole ingredients. Pour scalded milk over all. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes covered. Remove cover. Stir. Cook uncovered for approximately 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and milk is absorbed.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
