Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion - 1/2 item
- potatoes, peeled and sliced thin - 6 item
- butter pats
- milk to cover - 1 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Place potatoes in greased baking dish to cover bottom (1 layer), then cover generously with flour. Salt and pepper to taste. Add onion, if desired. Add several "butter pats" and then place another layer of same ingredients. Continue until all potatoes are used. Add milk to cover the layers and bake at 275° to 300° until tender and creamy, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
