Scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 6 item
- minced onions - 1/3 c
- sharp Cheddar, grated
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Boil potatoes until tender. Drain. Cool, peel and cut into bite-size pieces. Cook 2 cups cheese and butter until melted. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, onions, salt and pepper. Pour in potatoes and fold. Pour into baking pan. Top with 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
