Ingredients/Components
- milk
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- thinly sliced potatoes - 4 c
- medium onions, thinly sliced - 2 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Layer potatoes and onions in a 3-quart glass casserole dish. Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper over potatoes. Toss to coat evenly. Dot with butter and pour milk over top. Cover and microwave 20 to 24 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir once during cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
