Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- soup can milk - 1 item
- chopped pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 item
- small green pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- cheese cracker crumbs, divided - 1 c
How to make scalloped potatoes:
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Saute onion until tender. Stir in potatoes, soup and milk. Add cheese, green pepper, pimiento, pepper and 1/2 cup of the crumbs.Pour into a shallow casserole. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
