Ingredients/Components
- milk - 5 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 1/2
- onion, finely chopped - 1/2 c
- potatoes about 12 medium - 4 lb
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Slice potatoes thinly, about 8 cups. Layer potatoes and sprinkle each layer with dry ingredients. Dot with remaining butter. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350°. Uncover and bake 60 to 70 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
