Ingredients/Components

  • box lemon jello - 1 item
  • box orange jello - 1 item
  • hot water - 2 c
  • cold water - 1 c
  • bananas - 3 item
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 5 Tbsp
  • sugar - 1 c
  • pineapple juice - 2 c
  • envelopes Dream Whip - 2 item
  • pkg - 1 oz

How to make sawdust salad:

1st Layer: Dissolve jello in hot water; add cold water. Stir in drained pineapple. Slice bananas and place in layer on top of jello mixture. Place marshmallows on top of bananas. Let jell.

2nd Layer: Mix together well beaten eggs, flour, sugar and pineapple juice. Cook in saucepan until thick. Let cool, then spread on top of 1st Layer.

3rd Layer: Beat Dream Whip with milk as directed on package. Add cream cheese and whip well. Spread on top. Serves 10 to 12.
