Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • cold water
  • egg - 1 item
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • hot water - 2 c
  • miniature marshmallows - 40 item
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • pineapple juice - 1 c
  • bananas, diced - 2 item
  • box orange gelatin - 1 item
  • box lemon gelatin - 1 item

How to make sawdust salad:

Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups hot water. Add cold water, bananas, crushed pineapple and marshmallows. Chill until gelled. Cook sugar, flour, egg and pineapple juice until thick. Allow to cool and spread cooked mixture over gelatin. Whip cream and blend with cream cheese. Beat until light. Spread over second layer. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
