Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices bread - 6 item
- cheese, grated
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage breakfast casserole:
Place bread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish; set aside. Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble; drain. Spoon over bread; sprinkle with grated cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Mix and pour over cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. (May be assembled the day before, covered and refrigerated. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.)
