Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- fennel seed optional - 1/2 tsp
- garlic, minced - 2 tsp
- red or green bell pepper, chopped - 1 c
- loaf already pizza dough - 1 item
How to make sausage bread:
Brown sausage, onion, bell pepper, garlic and fennel seed (optional). Drain excess grease. Roll out pizza dough. Spread sausage mixture over dough. Roll up like a jelly roll, from longer side. Place, seam side down, on pan and bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Brush crust with butter; bake another 5 minutes, until golden brown.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Sandwich, One Dish meal.
