Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- melted butter - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Italian sausage - 1/2 1
- , grated
- garlic powder to taste - 1 item
- loaf frozen bread dough, thawed - 1 item
- red and green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- sesame seed for sprinkling - 1 item
How to make sausage bread:
Cut bread loaf in half; roll each half into a square. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. In a frying pan, crumble up sausage and add chopped pepper and onion; saut?© until done. Drain. Mix with 3/4 of the beaten eggs. Put 1/2 of sausage mixture in middle of each square of bread. Put grated Mozzarella cheese on top, and fold bread up letter style. Brush sides of bread with egg mixture to seal edges. Baste top with butter and sprinkle with sesame seed.
