Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 5 Tbsp
- seasoned salt - 1 item
- English muffins - 4 item
- garlic salt or powder - 1 item
- bulk sausage - 1/2 lb
- bulk hot Italian sausage - 1/2 lb
- small jar cheese spread or melted Velveeta - 1 item
How to make sausage bites:
Cook and drain sausages well. Add margarine, cheese and salts. Mix well. Spread on muffins. Cut each muffin 3 times. Freeze on cookie sheet for 20 to 30 minutes. Place in Ziploc bag.When ready to use, place under broiler for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
These are best made day before you want to serve them. Also, sausage mixture can be refrigerated, spread on party rye slices of bread and broiled when ready to serve.
