  • Bisquick
  • grated sharp cheese - 3 c
  • bulk Italian sausage - 1 lb

How to make sausage balls:

In a medium size bowl, mix sausage, Bisquick and cheese. Use hands to knead until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Shape into walnut size balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 12 to 14 minutes.

Make ahead, freeze and enjoy.

Do Ahead Tip: Sausage balls can be frozen, unbaked. Flash freeze them on a cookie sheet. When frozen, place in freezer bags. When ready to serve, bake frozen sausage balls for 18 to 20 minutes at 400°. Serve hot.
