Sausage and egg casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 5 oz
- sausage, browned and drained - 1 lb
- or 1 pt - 2 c
- slices buttered bread with crust removed - 6 item
How to make sausage and egg casserole:
Grease a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Place bread in bottom. Sprinkle browned sausage over bread. Add beaten eggs to half and half and salt to taste. Pour over sausage and bread. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes or until brown and bubbly.Recipe categories: Holiday, Breakfast, Casseroles.
