Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- shredded carrots - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper strips - 1/2 c
- drained sauerkraut - 2 c
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Stir sugar into sauerkraut and let stand for 1/2 hour. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in covered dish and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.This is good with pork, frankfurters or baked beans.
