Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- diced green pepper - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- can sauerkraut, drained - 1 item
- diced red pepper for coloring optional - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Dressing:1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. cooking oil1/4 c. vinegar1/2 tsp. salt Combine salad ingredients. Add dressing. Mix well and chill thoroughly. This salad will keep for days and still be delicious. Great served with white or brown beans and cornbread.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
