Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- cold water - 1 Tbsp
- powdered sugar
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- flour all-purpose - 2 c
How to make sand tarts:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Alternate sifted flour and water. Fold in pecans. Shape into balls and bake at 325° for 18 to 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Makes 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
