German chocolate cake frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- shredded coconut - 1 pkg
- nuts - 1 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
How to make german chocolate cake frosting:
Cream the margarine. Stir in the evaporated milk, sugar and egg yolks. Cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and coconut. Beat until thick. Add nuts and smooth over cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
