Salted peanut chews
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 12 oz
- egg - 1 item
- margarine, softened - 1/3 c
- Rice Krispies - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- white corn syrup
- salted peanuts - 2 c
- mini-marshmallows - 3 c
How to make salted peanut chews:
Topping:2/3 c. white corn syrup1/4 c. margarine2 tsp. vanilla12 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips2 c. Rice Krispies2 c. salted peanuts Combine the first 3 ingredients until crumbly and press on cookie sheet with sides (about 12 x 18-inch) and bake 12 to 18 minutes on 350° until golden brown. Then take out and put on marshmallows and bake about 2 minutes until marshmallows are fluffy. Then heat all topping ingredients, except for peanuts and Rice Krispies until chips are melted. Then add the peanuts and Rice Krispies and mix well. Then sprinkle evenly over the bottom layer. Cool completely and cut into squares.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
