Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 item
- tomatoes - 1 item
- green peppers - 1 item
- onions - 1 item
- mild or hot banana peppers - 1 item
How to make salsa:
Use equal amounts of each green peppers, banana peppers and onions. Use double amount of tomatoes. Chop up everything.Mix together in pan and heat to a full boil. While this is heating up, heat jars, lids and seals. Drain salsa. Scoop salsa into hot pint jars with 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon salt. Put on hot tops and let cool. Pour juice into hot pints with salt and vinegar. Seal and let cool. Use juice for soups or chili. The type of banana peppers used will determine how "hot" the salsa is.
