Ingredients/Components

  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • prepared horseradish - 1 tsp
  • grated onion - 2 3
  • liquid smoke - 1/4 tsp
  • can salmon - 1 lb
  • snipped parsley dry parsley may be used - 1/2 c

How to make salmon ball:

Drain, debone and flake salmon. Combine with cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, horseradish, salt and liquid smoke. Mix thoroughly. Chill for several hours. Shape mixture into a ball and roll in nuts and parsley. Serve with crackers.
