  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • vanilla instant pudding mix
  • light rum - 1/2 c
  • Butter Recipe golden cake mix - 1 pkg

How to make rum cake:

Glaze:1/2 c. sugar1 stick oleo1/4 c. light rum1/4 c. water Grease and flour Bundt pan or 10 x 4-inch tube pan. Crumble nuts into bottom of pan. Place cake and pudding mixes in large mixing bowl. Add rum, water, oil and eggs. Mix for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Remove cake from oven and immediately pour on hot glaze.

Glaze: Place ingredients in small saucepan and boil 2 to 3 minutes. Drizzle on hot cake. Cool 30 minutes. Turn out on cake plate.
