Rolled sugar cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- unsifted flour
- butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
How to make rolled sugar cookies:
Cream butter and sugar well. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt (mixed thoroughly). Chill dough in refrigerator (even overnight). Roll out small portion sprinkled with flour mixed with a small portion of sugar. Cut; place on ungreased baking sheet, 1 inch apart. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes at 400°.Note: Roll very thin and bake until brown around edges only.
