Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • chili powder - 1 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • pork loin - 1 item
  • or more curacao liqueur or any orange liqueur - 1/4 c

How to make roast pork adrien:

Season pork loin. Place fat side up in roasting pan. Bake at 325° to 350° until 1/2 hour before the roast is done. Combine all remaining ingredients except cornstarch and liqueur. Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch with some of the sauce and stir until smooth. Add to the rest of the sauce and stir until slightly thickened. Add the liqueur and continue stirring for 5 to 10 minutes.

Half an hour before the pork loin is done, remove pan drippings. Cover pork loin with 1/3 of the sauce. Serve remaining sauce with sliced pork loin. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
