Risotto
Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 3 tsp
- chicken broth - 3 c
- grated cheese - 1/2 c
- olive oil - 3 Tbsp
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- raw rice - 1 c
- saffron if powdered, use 1/4 tsp - 1 tsp
How to make risotto:
Cook raw rice and onion in oleo and olive oil until onion starts to color. Add chicken broth to which saffron has been added. Cook, covered, over low heat, stirring often, until broth is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in cheese and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
