Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- ground chuck - 2 lb
- slices bread, dampened with water and squeezed - 2 item
- dry onion soup mix
- catsup
- vinegar - 8 Tbsp
- apricot nectar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 8 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 4 tsp
- Worcestershire - 2 tsp
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Sauce:1 c. catsup8 Tbsp. vinegar1 c. apricot nectar8 Tbsp. brown sugar4 tsp. prepared mustard2 tsp. Worcestershire Combine meat, bread and soup. Brown meatballs in butter. Combine all sauce ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Serve in chafing dish.These can be frozen, but freeze sauce and meatballs separately. This recipe makes 50 meatballs.
