Reuben casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
- grated Swiss cheese - 2 c
- medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced - 2 item
- Thousand Island dressing - 1/4 c
- sauerkraut, well drained - 1 lb
- chopped corned beef - 2 c
- wide noodles, cooked and drained - 6 oz
- crispy rye crackers, crushed - 4 item
How to make reuben casserole:
Toss noodles with butter. Place noodles in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer sauerkraut, corned beef and tomatoes. Dot with salad dressing; sprinkle cheese and top with crumbs and caraway seed. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, covered. Uncover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
