Reuben casserole
Ingredients/Components
- Mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- Margarine - 2 Tbsp
- can Corned Beef, cut into small pieces - 1 12
- Shredded Swiss Cheese - 2 c
- Pumpernickel or rye bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- can Sauerkraut drained - 1 16
- Thousand Island Dressing - 1/4 c
- Tomatoes sliced - 2 med
How to make reuben casserole:
Put sauerkraut in 1 1/2 quart casserole; top with corned beef and cover with cheese.Combine mayonnaise and dressing, and spread over the cheese. Top with tomatoes. Set aside.
Melt margarine in microwave and stir in bread crumbs. Top casserole with buttered crumbs.
Microwave casserole 12 - 14 minutes or until heated through.
OR Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
