Reuben casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- stick butter, melted - 1/2 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 3 Tbsp
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- Swiss cheese, shredded - 2 c
- slices rye bread - 3 item
- cans sauerkraut, drained - 2 oz
- can corned beef, crumbled - 1 oz
- raw medium egg noodles - 8 oz
How to make reuben casserole:
Toast and crumble rye bread. Set aside. In a bowl, combine soup, milk, onion and mustard. In order given, place in greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan, layer the sauerkraut, dry noodles, soup mixture, corned beef and Swiss cheese.In a small bowl, mix together melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over top and cover. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.
