  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • shortening - 1 c
  • sifted flour - 6 c
  • warm water - 1 c
  • dry yeast - 2 pkg

How to make refrigerator rolls:

Mix yeast and warm water. Set aside. Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt; cool. Add beaten eggs and yeast mixture. Add flour. Beat well with mixer. Add remaining flour until dough feels sticky. Refrigerate overnight. Three hours before baking, take out of the refrigerator. Roll dough on floured board. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan. Let rise 3 hours. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until brown.
