Ingredients/Components
- dry yeast - 2 or
- lukewarm water - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- flour - 6 7
How to make refrigerator rolls:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Scald the milk; add the syrup and salt. Add 2 cups of flour and beat well. Add yeast mix. Beat eggs; add them. Blend well and add the shortening and remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and satiny. Place in a lightly greased bowl. Grease top of dough. Cover and put into refrigerator. When wanted, remove dough from refrigerator and punch down. Remove desired amount. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Pinch off desired amounts for rolls. Place the rolls in greased pans and let rolls rise until double in size. Bake in moderately hot oven (375°) for approximately 20 minutes.These rolls are durned good. My family will eat them with the meal fer bread then sop the in lasis or syrep for zert. Some kinda good eatin.
